Michelle and Dave got married in an incredibly cute little church in Northern Pennsylvania. The reception was in the basement. It was the perfect setting for a country wedding right before Christmas with the snow falling everywhere. They utilized pine in the flowers and centerpieces and we took most of the family portraits in front of the Christmas tree that was set up in the front of the church. You may recall Michelle from the boudoir session a couple months ago, and it was great to see her again! Here are a few of my favorites...

Olivia Act - Free Session nominations
The
Olivia Act, named after one of the children killed in Newtown, Ct., was
started by a photographer who wishes to be anonymous. Olivia’s family
had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those
pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, this
photographer was moved to give away a 30 minute family photo shoot and
has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily
lives and sometimes we don’t take the time or have the resources to
have family photos taken.
I will be taking nominations for a
family who you think would deserve a session. This session will take
place after the New Year at a time that works with the family and
myself. I will be taking Nominations until December 31st . Please email
me their name, contact information (email and phone number) and a brief
summary of why you chose them too: putting "THE OLIVIA ACT NOMINATION"
in the subject line. The chosen family will be contacted via email or
phone call. Please do not post their information here. The gift is a
session and a collection of digital portraits, so they may have
priceless keepsakes to adorn their home. Please share this status. Thank
you. ♥
Please send all nominations to jscunningham.ny@gmail.com

Mother and Son
I met this mother and son duo in Centennial Square the other day, it was threatening rain and cold, but they wanted their pictures in the square with the holiday decorations. Needless to say we were done pretty quick but I think we got some great shots! Here are my favorites...

Anderson Family
The Anderson Family and I went "bear" hunting at Spencercrest Nature Center, it was pretty chilly, but we trekked down a trail to the pond. The sun was shinning and it was beautiful! We warmed up in the car ride down to Centennial Park for a few more pictures, the sun was going down and it was definitely cold so we went into Old World Cafe to warm up again! Carson and Family
I met Carson and his family at Sperr Park in Big Flats. We had a nice time walking around the park and watching for "birds" and real birds behind my head. It was cold, but had a quick drive to the other part of the park to warm up! Here are a few of my favorites...

Suzette and Chuck's Wedding
You may remember Suzette and Chuck from their engagement session earlier in the year. Suzette is totally into Pinterest! She found so many amazing ideas there, from poses she wanted to try to the bridesmaids as well as her bouquet, the kids shoes, and more! There were so many great details to their wedding. Even though it was freezing cold out, they still held the ceremony outside as well as going to Sperr Park for bridal party portraits! You can even see some snow/ice flakes in a few of the pictures! Here are a few of my favorites from their day...

Baby Liam
Baby Liam has the cutest chubby face and gorgeous blue eyes! He was the best baby, even though it was sprinkling out he was still smiley, and I don't think his Halloween costume could get any cuter!!! Here are my favorites...

Molly and Paul's Wedding
Molly and I grew up together, we lived a couple blocks away and our parents were friends. I even babysat Molly and her brother! I was honored when she asked me to be the photographer at her wedding! The weather was typical October in Buffalo, but it did not matter because it was at the Botanical Garden! It was wonderful to see Molly's extended family whom I had not seen in years! Here are a few of my favorites...
