Sparling Family

I know the Sparling family from the Corning MOMS club. We met at the pier in Watkins Glen on an absolutely beautiful cloudy fall day! It was chilly that morning and jackets were left on one of the benches as we were taking pictures. One jacket sadly blew away and we watched it sink into the water. We also got a chance to see a muskrat running along the rocks. It kept running in the opposite direction we were going, but we got to see it several times! It was an exciting morning. Here are a couple of my favorites...

Family of T's

I met up with Teona, Travis, Tucker, and Tristan at Centennial Park in Corning the other day. We literally had perfect weather! The kids did not want their picture taken, but really did everything I asked them to do, which is amazing for their ages. Here are some of my favorites from the morning...

25th Wedding Anniversary

I was recently invited to photograph a 25th Wedding anniversary party. Please contact me to discuss any upcoming parties you may have; it is great to have a photographer to capture your guests, and take group pictures at a family gathering, party, or other event. The party was at a fire hall and we took our group pictures right outside the front door. We even got a photograph of most of the original wedding party!  Here are a few of my favorites from the afternoon...

Congregation Kol Ami

Today my children and I joined in walking the torah scrolls from the building formerly Congregation B'Nei Israel (and the new home of New Day Ministry) to the newly formed Congregation Kol Ami - the combined congregations of Congregation B'Nei Israel and Shomray Hadath. We were very lucky in that it only sprinkled a little bit.  The new synagogue will have it's first High Holiday services next week for Rosh Hashanah and this event was a beautiful and traditional way to truly bring the two congregations into one. Here are a few images from the morning...

Annonymous Wedding in June

I was the photographer of a wedding in June where the couple wanted to remain annonymous. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding! It took place at Sonnenburg Garden and the reception was at the Finger Lakes Wine and Culinary Center, both in Canandaigua. The ceremony was so moving and beautiful that not a single eye was dry, including mine. The pictures turned out amazing! Sonnenburg Garden is a wedding photographer's dream and this couple were absolutely beautiful! Since I am not sharing their photographs I would like to share a note they wrote...

"My husband and I were so pleased that we chose JSC Photography for our wedding. Jessica was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. She was detailed and professional, ensuring that we had all of the settings and shots that we wanted. Her real strength showed through though in the candid and intimate shots she captured during the preparations, ceremony, and reception. Her natural talent for catching emotion and creativity in composition were amazing. She helped us on our wedding day by not only immortalizing our special moments, but also by assisting the wedding party with last minute details, working closely with the venue staff, and even bustling my dress at the reception! Jessica's services were very reasonable and she went above and beyond to make our day special. We had hundreds of beautiful photos in only 2 weeks and will definitely be using JSC Photography for other special occasions in our lives. Thanks Jessica!"
