Molly and Paul's Wedding

Molly and I grew up together, we lived a couple blocks away and our parents were friends. I even babysat Molly and her brother! I was honored when she asked me to be the photographer at her wedding! The weather was typical October in Buffalo, but it did not matter because it was at the Botanical Garden! It was wonderful to see Molly's extended family whom I had not seen in years! Here are a few of my favorites...

Zoe

I have known Zoe since she was a little girl and now she is a beautiful woman, soon to be graduating from high school. It is hard to believe how fast time slips by. We met at Glen Falls Park in Williamsville NY for her senior portraits. She was super patient with me posing her all over the park. It was cold and threatening rain the whole time too, but we had a good time. Here are a few of my favorites...

Polak Family

Before I had the session with my sister-in-law, I met with my husband's uncle and his family. It worked out great to do the sessions back to back! Amazingly the weather was different just an hour earlier - it was sunny and there was not a lot of wind, so it felt warmer. The girls were perfect little models and we had a great time wandering around the park. I don't get to see them that often so it was nice to catch up. Here are a few of my favorites...

Koenig Family

I met my husband's sister and family at Delaware Park in Buffalo on a beautiful but very, very chilly day. On the promise of hot chocolate to come we coaxed my nieces out of their jackets. My youngest niece decided it was too cold and she only wanted to cuddle with mommy- smart girl! My elder niece, in typical 4 year old fashion, decided that running around is what would keep her warm. Either way you cannot hide their cuteness, what a beautiful family! Here are a few of my favorites...

Baby Zara

Baby Zara did not want her picture taken this morning. She ate and was changed, but did not want to be set down; we did get a few smiles and some great family portraits. I've known her daddy since he was born and I could not be happier for him and his wife on the birth of their beautiful baby. I look forward to watching her grow up. I have not done a senior portrait session in about 8 years! I used to do them all the time when I worked at a portrait studio, I forgot how much fun they are! Vanessa and I wandered around Chestnut Ridge park and a beach in Hamburg. She was a great model and humored me while I posed her, giving her all sorts of directions :). We had a gorgeous day for pictures and there are too many favorites to count, but this is a sample...

Jennifer and Michael's Wedding

Last weekend my sister-in-law Jenny got married! I was very excited when she and her fiance Michael asked me to do the photographs. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Unitarian Church on Elmwood Ave in Buffalo and their reception was at the Butler Mansion on Delaware.
